Welcome to Compass Pointe Apartments, a spacious residential community in Valparaiso where comfort, convenience, and thoughtfully designed amenities come together across a beautifully maintained apartment neighborhood.

Compass Pointe offers a variety of one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes ranging from approximately 650 to more than 1,300 square feet. Each home is designed for comfortable everyday living and features an in-home washer and dryer, central heating and air conditioning, and a private patio or balcony with its own exterior storage room, giving you both outdoor space and convenient additional storage.

Screened-in patios or balconies are available in select homes, allowing residents to enjoy fresh air and outdoor living in comfort throughout much of the year. Select floorplans also feature cozy gas fireplaces and vaulted ceilings, adding warmth and architectural character.

Throughout the community, residents enjoy a wide range of amenities designed for relaxation, recreation, and convenience. The campus includes two resident community centers, two seasonal swimming pools, and two fitness centers, giving residents convenient access to amenities no matter where they live within the community.

Our fitness facilities complement each other, with one cardio-focused fitness center and another dedicated to strength and weight training, allowing residents to choose the workout environment that best fits their routine.

Outdoor amenities include a sand volleyball court, picnic areas with BBQ grills, and two dedicated dog parks—one designed for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs.

Compass Pointe also offers conveniences that simplify daily living, including valet trash pickup service and EV charging stations with preferred resident discounts.

Located in the heart of Valparaiso and Porter County, the community is just minutes from many of the area’s favorite destinations including Valplayso Park, Ogden Gardens, Rogers-Lakewood Park, Shorewood Forest, Deep River Waterpark, Zao Island, and the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks.

Residents also enjoy convenient access to major employers and educational institutions including Valparaiso University, Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue University Northwest, Urschel Laboratories, Pratt Industries, Porter Health Care System, and Opportunity Enterprises.

With quick access to IN-49, IN-2, I-94, I-65, the Indiana Toll Road, Chicago DASH commuter service, and the South Shore Line, residents can travel easily throughout Northwest Indiana and into the Chicago metropolitan area.
